In this myth of consciousness in five parts – Lincoln student playwrights Amelia Schafer, Erin Dornan, and Alyssia Menezes closely collaborated to provoke questions around identity, emotional capacity, and decisions around joy, sorrow, grief, and healing. What lies within each of us? What is nature? What is nurture? Where is cause? What is effect? And in the final movement of the piece, the entire sixteen-person cast worked alongside the director to devise the content, bringing this innovative and surreal work to a haunting close…
Performing as the premiere production in Lincoln High School’s new, intimate Blackbox Theatre, Times Two continues the tradition of presenting plays by teenaged writers, for teenaged performers, exploring the teenaged world.
